Your Team
The Innovation team shapes new exciting technologies that create future business for NXP. The team currently works on signal processing and machine learning methods for next-generation radars, autonomous driving, and robotics. We are currently looking for a highly motivated student for a 9-12 month internship/thesis.
Your Responsibilities
Development of new algorithms (signal processing/ML) for specific use cases like object detection and navigation in autonomous driving and robotics.
Working with an international team of scientists and engineers.
Support in data collection needed for algorithm validation.
Validation of developed methods in simulation platforms and/or real hardware prototypes.
Dissemination of scientific results in top-tier publications.

Your Profile
Enrolled in a Master of Science in electrical engineering, robotics, data science or equivalent.
Strong experience in Python programming and ML model development.
Experience with hardware is a plus.
Familiarity/experience with Nvidia Sim and ROS is a plus.
Strong communication skills (presentations, reading and writing technical papers).
Duration
This is a full-time internship/thesis (40 hours per week) with a duration of 9 months or longer. The assignment could also be suitable as a thesis/graduation project.
Please note that in order to be considered for an internship/working student assignment, you need to be registered as a student during the entire period.
